Donald Trump's nights of debating his Republican opponents may be over now that he has a commanding lead in the race for the GOP nomination. Fox News has cancelled the debate planned for Monday, March 21, after Trump informed the network he wouldn't be there.
Trump, who won four of five big primaries Tuesday, had previously hinted he may not take part in future debates. He's blaming a scheduling conflict for bowing out of next week's forum.
I am making a big speech the night of the @FoxNews debate, but I wish everyone well. Yesterday was a big day for me with 5 wins!

Only three GOP candidates remain in the race -- Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich -- after Marco Rubio suspended his campaign in the wake his loss of his home state Florida Tuesday. The chemistry of a three-candidate debate might make for a tougher room for Trump than the past debates with larger fields that dispersed the focus.
