Fact Check: Biden's Family Did NOT Say He Died And Was Replaced By Actor In 2019 Foundationless

Did President Joe Biden's family say he died and was replaced by an actor in 2019? No, that's not true: This article and accompanying video from The People's Voice is baseless. There is no member of the Biden family who has claimed that Joe Biden died in 2019 and was replaced with a body double. That claim arose from an already-debunked 2022 video from a satire account in which a woman pretending to be Naomi Biden tells a made-up story.

A June 11, 2022 video, which Lead Stories debunked on September 15, 2022, and which has since been deleted, was posted on TikTok by the account of content creator Kass Theaz @isatandstared. This account is marked as satire. Copies of the video are still circulating online, on TikTok, Instagram, Rumble and X. Some of these are titled, "ASHLEY BIDEN - HOW MANY BIDENS DO WE SEE? - JOE BIDEN HAS A TWIN BROTHER" as if Kass Theaz is playing Joe Biden's daughter Ashley. The embedded context of the video is that Theaz is portraying Joe Biden's granddaughter, who would be Naomi Biden.

On September 6, 2023, an article was published by thepeoplesvoice.tv, titled "Biden's Family Admit He Died and Was Replaced By an Actor in 2019" (archived here). It opened:

Is Joe Biden just another compromised pedophile selected by the globalist elite to serve as a puppet leader of a Western democracy - or is there something even more nefarious going on?
Bizarre videos featuring Biden glitching have raised serious questions about his health and whether he is being represented in videos by AI.
Now members of Biden's own family are admitting that the real Joe Biden is not the man making decisions at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

This is how the article appeared at the time of writing:

The focus of this fact check will be the main claim in the headline, "Biden's Family Admit He Died and Was Replaced By an Actor in 2019."

The article is accompanied by a 7:19-minute-long video narrated by Sean Adl-Tabatabai. At the 6:21 mark in the video, the satirical TikTok video that is now posted on the @countrygirl7745 account is shown. A text overlay on the video reads:

um my grandfather Joe Biden does have a twin

The Lead Stories composite image below shows three images, which together establish this video as a satirical fabrication and not as a testimonial from a member of the Biden family. Although the two TikTok accounts have different styles, tiktok.com/@countrygirl7745 and tiktok.com/@isatandstared feature the same woman, Kass Theaz, according to @isatandstared. She is in the video that was originally captioned, "Naomi Biden says Joe Biden died 4 years ago," which was fact checked by Lead Stories. When Lead Stories wrote that article on September 15, 2022, the now-deleted video was posted on the @isatandstared account, which was then, and still is as of this writing, marked as a satire account.

An example of the video, as posted on X/Twitter on September 24, 2022, (below right) is captioned, "ASHLEY BIDEN - HOW MANY BIDENS DO WE SEE? - JOE BIDEN HAS A TWIN BROTHER." This is the same video that appears in The People's Voice video narrated by Adl-Tabatabai, and is the basis for his assertion that a member of the Biden family says "Joe Biden died in 2019 and has been played by an actor ever since."
