Fact Check: NO Evidence Oprah Winfrey's Private Jet Was At Jeffrey Epstein's Island 11 Different Times -- Or At Any Time No Plane Proof

Was Oprah Winfrey's private jet at Jeffrey Epstein's island 11 different times? No, that's not true: There is no proof that Winfrey's private plane was ever on convicted pedophile Epstein's island Little St. James in the Caribbean. The island is only 75 acres and does not have a runway for Winfrey's private plane, or any planes, to land there. Winfrey does not appear on flight logs of Epstein's plane that were obtained by reporters in January 2015 after they were filed as an exhibit in a federal lawsuit.

The claim appeared as a post (archived here) where it was published on Instagram on November 25, 2023. It opened:

OPRAH WINFREY'S PRIVATE JET WAS AT EPSTEIN'S ISLAND 11 DIFFERENT TIMES

This is what the post looked like at the time of writing:

The post cited no sources or any evidence to substantiate the stated claim.

There is no evidence that Winfrey's plane was ever on Epstein's island at all. Images that have been published in Business Insider (archived here) of the small island do not show a runway. Epstein would fly into the international airport on St. Thomas and take a helicopter to Little St. James, as The New York Times (archived here) reported.

There are flight logs of Eptsein's private plane, nicknamed Lolita Express, that were obtained by reporters in 2015 after they were filed as an exhibit in a federal lawsuit. Winfrey's name never appears on the list. They are handwritten by pilot David Rogers and can be downloaded and checked here:Epstein Flight logs by Alan Duke on Scrib

As Lead Stories previously reported here, claims that Winfrey ever visited Epstein's island are false.
