Fact Check: Video Does NOT Show Man Dressed As A Girl To Hide His Identity Detained By ICE And Offered Cheeseburger -- Video Is From Brazil In Brazil

Does a video show a man who tried to disguise himself as a little girl being detained by ICE and offered a cheeseburger? No, that's not true: The post making the claim offered no context about the origins of the video, but Lead Stories identified the person seen eating a cheeseburger. She is the daughter of an Instagram influencer in Brazil, not a man in the U.S. The video shows no ICE agents or signs that the girl is being detained by anyone.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) shared by Terrence K Williams on his Facebook page on July 14, 2025. The text introduction to the video read:

ICE agents detained this man who hid his identity by dressing up like a little girl, once ICE was able to capture the man-child they offered him a cheeseburger during his processing

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The video was not included in the post, but was added in the comment section. The screenshot shows the captioning on the video which read "ICE agents detained a man who tried to hide his identity and showed compassion by giving him a hamburger with American cheese."

The same girl is seen on a Brazilian comedian's Instagram account (archived here), He identified her as his daughter in the post.

The girl also appears in several videos, including this one (archived here) on her father's TikTok account:
