Did Marjorie Taylor Green really put up a poster with the alleged Trump birthday letter or card to Jeffrey Epstein along with signature comparisons as seen in a viral video? No, that's not true: The clip originally appeared on an Instagram account that says it publishes satire. The video itself was tagged with a disclaimer that said it was "digitally altered for comedic effect". In the original, unedited video, Greene can be seen putting up a poster commenting on the issue of how many genders there are.
The viral video appeared in a post on Instagram (archived here) where it was published on September 9, 2025 by an account named "the_clever_fool_" with a caption that read:
BREAKING: in a shocking turn of events Marjorie Taylor Greene becomes the GOP's voice of reason.

The video used an image from a Wall Street Journal article (archived here) titled "Epstein Birthday Letter With Trump's Signature Revealed" that was published on September 8, 2025.

The Instagram account named "the_clever_fool_" (archived here) has a bio that indicates it is run by someone named Ben Sabino and says:
The Clever Fool | Satire, economics & society 🃏 Smart enough to question, foolish enough to say it out loud.
That account appears to have cropped an earlier version of the video (archived here) to remove the watermark from meme account @PaulleyTicks on X that carried the same disclaimer:
