Fact Check: Addison Rae Did NOT Leave ChatGPT Prompt In Grammys Thank You Note -- Satirical Post Satire

Did singer Addison Rae accidentally leave a ChatGPT prompt in a "Thank You" letter for the Grammys? No, that's not true: A fake screenshot of such a message originated on a satirical account on X. The "Drop Pop" account is known for posting jokes at the expense of various celebrities and is clearly labeled as satire.

The supposed message appeared in an X post (archived here) published by Drop Pop on November 8, 2025 with a caption that read:

Addison Rae Accidentally Leaves ChatGPT Prompt in Her Grammys Thank You letter.

The supposed note read:

dear grammys people,
thank u so much for the nomonation. i'm honestly still shaking up. been manifesting this since i was like 7 (or 8 maybe). feels so crazy to be seen by yall finally.

Drop Pop has a bio on X (archived here) that says:

@TheOnion's hot sister || all content is satirical and not factual || DM or 📧: [email protected] for promo.

The account has gotten millions of views with made-up posts about various celebrities in the past, for example here and here.
