Does a video show Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro telling a Masonic lodge he would give Brazil to "Greater Israel" and Satan? No, that's not true: The man in the video is not Flávio Bolsonaro. Instead, it is his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro. There is also no mention of Israel or Satan in the video.
The claim appeared in a post and video (archived here) by the @drhossamsamy65 account on X on Oct. 7, 2026. It read:
⛔️Surprise ‼️
⛔️ Brazilian far-right candidate Flavio Bolsonaro swears before the Grand Masonic Lodge of Brazil that if he wins the election, he will hand over the country to 'Greater Israel' and his god, Satan. 👿👿
This is what a screenshot of the video in the post looked like at the time of writing:

The 2017 video (archived here) shows Jair Bolsonaro, not Flávio, speaking at a Masonic Lodge in Brazil. He served as the 38th President of Brazil from January 1, 2019, to January 1, 2023. His speech does not include references to Israel or Satan, as the post claims.
This is Lead Stories' literal translation of what he said:
One thing that is as grave or more grave than corruption is the ideological issue ...
We have all it takes to be a great nation.
Sometimes we look at a small country.
Some even smaller than our state of Sergipe... which has nothing ... who are the highlight of the world....
Lamentably ... we still owe a lot to ... in order to position ourselves close to these nations...
I'm not here as a candidate for anything ...
For two and a half years I've decided to (walk) travel all over Brazil.
To leave the comfort zone as a member of parliament...
It's almost like going to paradise for those who have no responsibilities...
I searched out regions, looked for problem areas, and how to solve them without money.
Where does it get tight for us Brazilians?
What are the great problems we have to face?
I had answers along with the institutions in the field, along with the business community of São Paulo.
First is the following, Mr. Deputy... we must remember: we need a president who does not get in our way. This is the nation's biggest problem. Over the last 30 years, unfortunately, the Executive and Legislative branches have perfected the skill of creating problems to sell solutions. No need to go into detail. Unfortunately, the daily history of our press shows how we are doing.
The root of the problem...
