The Rolling Stones have at least one more studio album left in them, Keith Richards said in an interview.

It's been a decade since they released A Bigger Bang in 2005, although they've been steady with the touring.

"Actually, I was in London last week, and the boys and I got together, and yeah, there are now definite plans to record," Richards told interviewer Jim Kerr during an IheartRadio ICONS event.

The boys -- currently Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood -- return to the road in a few months for a tour of South America. Presumably, the band would then start recording the long-anticipated album.

The 10-year gap is the longest the world has ever had to wait for a new Rolling Stones project.

Richards was on the iHeartRadio show to promote his new solo album titled Crosseyed Heart which hits iTunes and stores on Friday, September 18, 2015.
