The Star Wars fan whose last wish to see the film was grated by producers died Tuesday after a battle with cancer, according to his wife, who organized a Facebook campaign to help him get his dying wish.
Producer J.J. Abrams invited Daniel Fleetwood to a special screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at his home just a week before his death.
Ashley Fleetwood posted the sad news about his death on Facebook on Tuesday, November 10, 2015: "Daniel put up an amazing fight to the very end. He is now one with God and with the force. He passed in his sleep and in peace. He will always be my idol and my hero. Please hug uncle Marc for me and give Lucy lots of kisses. Rest in peace my love. This was the last selfie we ever took together. #forcefordaniel"
