Jimmy Kimmel's "Lie Witness News" went on the streets of Hollywood on Martin Luther King Day to ask people what they thought about news that MLK (who was assassinated in 1968) had just endorsed Donald Trump for president.
"I would think he would be the last one to endorse Trump," one woman said.
"I figure if he's going to endorse Donald Trump for president then maybe he thinks he'd be a good president," said another lady.
A man who was asked if he was surprised to learn that MLK "never once voted for Barack Obama" replied "You would think because of a minority that he would want to vote for Mr. Obama himself."
A woman was asked if she was surprised that Malcom X (who was assassinated in 1965) had endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. She said it was likely because they both have homes on Martha's Vineyard where "they vacation, they golf together ."
