Ticking Time Bomb: Lawyer Claims DC Madam's Secret Phone Records Will Shake Up 2016 Presidential Race

  • by: Alan Duke

The lawyer who represented D.C. madam Deborah Palfrey nine years ago says he will soon release phone records from the case that will affect the 2016 presidential race.

A federal judge ordered the records sealed in 2008, but the lawyer is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to unseal them because they "contain information relevant to the upcoming presidential election." If the high court says no, he says he will release them anyway because of their importance.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow digs into this mystery.
