James Rosen | Lead Stories

James Rosen is a syndicated opinion columnist who received the top award for column writing in 2021 from the Society of Professional Journalists. His columns have run in Newsday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Houston Chronicle, the Detroit Free Press, and many other outlets. He was previously a Pentagon correspondent and political reporter for McClatchy Newspapers. Earlier in his career, Rosen covered the collapse of the Soviet Union as a Moscow correspondent for UPI. He has also received multiple awards from the National Press Club and Military Reporters and Editors. He is co-author of the award-winning espionage novel High Hand.
