Facebook is catching on fast to a satirical report that says the Islamic terror group ISIS is honoring the Kentucky county clerk jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses.
The fictional story quotes a leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria saying the group is representing the "ISIS Courage Award" to Kim Davis for "adhering to Sharia Law under threat of imprisonment by infidel American Judge."
Will we cont to pretend as though #SCOTUS is the "Supreme Branch" w/ authority & ability to make laws? http://t.co/qYxGe1aEPy #ImWithKim

Critics of Davis have suggested her supporters, who include GOP presidential candidates Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, share a religious fanaticism similar to the Islamic terrorists. Davis cited "God's authority" when she defied a federal judge's order that she issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples in compliance with a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
