Did the U.S. Marine Corps relax tattoo standards and is it now allowing full-sleeve tattoos? No, that's not true, despite a prank post made via something called "The Fake News Generator" on a website with a domain name that pretends to be the Associated Press but isn't. It is not real.
The story originated from an article published on theasociatedpress.com (not the real www.ap.org) on the September 8, 2018 titled "Marines now allowed full sleeves" (archived here) which opened:
Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Neller has authorized the use of full sleeve tattoos
Users on social media only saw this title, description and thumbnail so they could have easily confused it for real news:

However the actual policy for tattoos in the USMC can be read here and full-sleeve ones are clearly not allowed:
