Fact Check: Delta Force Did NOT Arrest Klaus Schwab In April 2024 No Record

Did a Delta Force strike team arrest 86-year-old World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab on April 12, 2024? No, that's not true: There is no credible evidence that this happened. In addition, the website where this claim appeared has a rrecord of publishing fabricated content.

The claim appeared in an article published by Real Raw News on April 15, 2024, titled "Delta Force Arrests Klaus Schwab" (archived here), which opened:

A Delta Force strike team arrested 86-year-old World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab Friday following a deadly firefight that started at the fortified gate at his 7,770-square-foot, six-acre compound in Switzerland and ended in his bed-chamber, where the death-bringing geezer lay in bed hooked up to a self-dispensing Adrenochrome infusion machine, a source in General Eric M. Smith's office told Real Raw News.

Lead Stories previously debunked the claim that World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab had been hospitalized in mid-April 2024. Yann Zopf, head of media at WEF, was able to confirm that Schwab's health was excellent on April 15, 2024. Zopf also said of the claims that include Schwab:

Like many high-profile individuals and organizations, he and the World Economic Forum have been targeted by conspiracy narratives, as well as misinformation and disinformation campaigns.

A Google News search (archived here) of Google News' index of thousands of reliable information sources (the search terms are visible in the link) produced no results to substantiate this claim.

The only April 12, 2024, post (archived here) on the World Economic Forum's verified X account did not report on any arrest. Instead, it linked to an article about financial education and technology on the WEF website.

Lead Stories reached out to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the World Economic Forum regarding this claim. This fact check will be updated if any responses are received.
