Fact Check: NO EVIDENCE Seth Rogen Died At 44 No Reports

Did Canadian-American actor Seth Rogen pass away in April 2026? No, that's not true: No credible media organizations reported it. The claim originated from obscure websites and parody accounts on social media.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) published on April 29, 2026, on X. It opened:

Seth Rogen tragically found dead at 44.

The post included a black-and-white picture of the actor.

This is what the image looked like on X at the time of writing:

The purported news was published on social media by a self-described "parody account" (archived here):

Another website mimicking a media organization that spread the same rumor was 16 days old (archived here):

A search on Google News (archived here), however, showed no credible media reports confirming the actor's death.

His account on Instagram (archived here) showed no such announcement.

The rumor was preceded by a post on Reddit claiming that the actor's character on The Boys (archived here) died.

A similar death hoax previously targeted Seth Rogen (archived here) in August 2021 (archived here).
