Fact Check: Photo Is NOT Mugshot Of Woman Who 'Glued Her Husband's Butt Cheeks Together' -- Arrested For Arson Fire Not Glue

Does a viral mugshot show a woman who was arrested for gluing her husband's butt cheeks together? No, that's not true: The mugshot is of a woman arrested for starting a fire in a home where two people were inside. The arrest happened in Fairfield Township in the greater Cincinnati area. There are no credible news reports of a woman being arrested for gluing her husband's butt cheeks together.

The claim appeared in a June 17, 2026, post by the @Theveripost account on X (archived here). It opened:

WIFE GORILLA GLUES SLEEPING
HUSBAND'S BUTT CHEEKS TOGETHER AFTER CATCHING HIM CHEATING.

This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

A reverse image search of the mugshot matched a story about an arrested woman identified as April Caldwell and "charged with aggravated arson for starting a fire in a home where two people were inside," according to Local 12 News (archived here). The mugshot published in the article matches the woman in the X post:

A search on Google (archived here) and Yahoo (archived here) found multiple posts on social media accounts using the mugshot from the woman arrested for aggravated arson and claiming she was arrested for gluing her husband's butt cheeks together.

A search of Google News (archived here) and Yahoo News (archived here) did not find any matching news reports of a woman being arrested for gluing her husband's butt cheeks together.
