The world knows Osama Abdul Mohsen because cameras captured what happened to him as he made a desperate run across a field with his son in his arms in a dash to get across into Hungary from Serbia. A female photographer who was covering the story for a conservative Hungarian Internet channel stuck out her leg and tripped the Syria refugee, sending him tumbling onto the ground.
Sometimes, though, justice happens. While the tripper lost her job with N1TV because her boss decided she "behaved unacceptably," Mohsen, 52, has been given a job at a school for soccer coaches in Spain, NBC News reported.
Spain's Cenafe national soccer coaching center offered the job -- and a chance to get his new life started away from the violence of Syria's civil war -- when they learned that Mohsen had been a soccer coach in Syria.
Miguel Angel Galan, the head of the school said they were showing "solidarity because we are colleagues."
