Actor Jamie Foxx is speaking out after rescuing a man from a burning truck right in front of his house. abc7.la/1PE0FhfFoxx said he heard the crash and rushed to help. The truck was already on its side and on fire.

The man he saved was Brett Kyle, 32. His father visited Foxx Tuesday to thank him for saving his son's life.

Foxx wrote about the meeting in an Instragram post: "Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters. That a man, a son, a brother's life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us...No heroes...Just happy fathers."
