Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders each made remarkable speeches as the presidential primary season closed Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Trump used a TelePrompTer -- an unusual thing for the billionaire -- as he read his speech focusing on attacks against Hilary Clinton. Trump also reached out to Bernie Sanders voters to join his campaign. (scroll to the 43:00 mark for Trump's start.)
Hillary Clinton had kind words for Bernie Sanders as she claimed her historic victory. Clinton is the first female to become the presumptive presidentiail nominee of a major political party.
Bernie Sanders was defiant and determined in the face of defeat, refusing to concede to Clinton despite a disappointing Tuesday. He vowed to continue his campaign until the Washington, D.C. primary next Tuesday.
