In the wake of today's terror attack with a van in Barcelona both current president Trump and former president Obama sent out tweets expressing solidarity. And even though Obama's tweet was sent out about 75 minutes after Trump's it has already gotten more likes and retweets:
Michelle and I are thinking of the victims and their families in Barcelona. Americans will always stand with our Spanish friends. Un abrazo.
-- Barack Obama (@BarackObama) August 17, 2017
Compare Trump's tweet, which seems to be getting more comments though:
The United States condemns the terror attack in Barcelona, Spain, and will do whatever is necessary to help. Be tough & strong, we love you!
-- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 17, 2017
Both graphs will be updating hourly if you want to keep track of how both tweets are doing over the next few hours.
