Hoax Alert: 50 Cent NOT Shot 9 Times Again & Meek Mill Is NOT A Suspect

Fact Check

  • by: Alan Duke

Lead Stories' Trendolizer detected as trending a story on several websites reporting that 50 Cent has been shot 9 times and that rival rapper Meek Mill is a suspect in the shooting. This is a hoax report published by websites that have a reputation of publishing ironic, but false stories.

The fake report is ironic because 50 Cent did survive 9 gunshots in a 2000 incident, which he described to Oprah Winfrey in this video:

50 Cent also released a song and music video titled "9 Shots" last year.
