Fact Check: AI Image Shows Person With Blue Hair Writing 'Fascist' On A Tesla Cybertruck -- Not Real Photo AI Image

Does an image authentically show a person with blue hair writing "fascist" on a Tesla Cybertruck? No, that's not true: The picture of the half-naked person is AI generated. It originated in a post from an account on X that says it publishes "trustworthy fake news & memes".

The image originally appeared in a post on X (archived here) published on March 24, 2025 with a caption that read:

What should we do to stop the domestic terrorist from vandalizing the Tesla?

This is what the image looked like:

The account that posted the image (archived here) had a bio that reads:

I am 𝕏's #1 fart Influencer 💨
🎪 Join my circus and let's laugh at the world's current absurdities together! | 🎭 Trustworthy fake news & memes

The account later posted a message (archived here) confirming the image was indeed generated by AI:

Online AI detection tool Hive Moderation determined that the image was 99.9 percent likely "likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content," as shown in the screenshot below:
