Fact Check: FAKE Video Shows Workers Creating A Dolphin-Shaped Swimming Pool -- It's AI Flippin' Fake

Is a video that shows workers creating a dolphin-shaped swimming pool authentic? No, that's not true: The video is AI-generated. The account that originally posted the video has an AI disclaimer in its bio. Plus, an online AI detection tool rates the video as 100 percent likely AI-generated.

The claim appeared in a video posted on April 16, 2026, on X by the account @HaYoMiDe_ (archived here). It said:

The owner must definitely be a billionaire 😍🤭

This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

The video was originally posted on Instagram on April 7, 2026, by @diycraftsofficial1 (archived here), an account that posts videos of wildly creative lawn and landscaping designs. The account has a disclaimer that reads, "I Make Viral AI Videos 🚀," as this screenshot shows:

Telltale signs of AI in the video show people disappearing several times throughout the video and the gray tarpaulin vanishing in the pool. Palm trees just appear on the island in the middle of the pool and the workers appear to put in sand and build furniture with no equipment or boxes.

The Hive Moderation AI-Generated Content Detection tool rated the video as 100 percent "likely to be AI-generated":
