Donald Trump tweeted a campaign-produced video Tuesday declaring that he had no choice but to run for president and save the country.

The black-and-white video features a narration by Trump that is unusual for the billionaire: He is reading a script and not speaking extemporaneously as he usually does at rallies. It includes dark images of America, including a homeless beggar and people apparently climbing over the U.S. border to illegally enter the country.
"This mess calls for leadership in the worse way," Trump says, explaining why he is running for president to save the nation. "It's going to hell. I had to do it!"
Trump touts his proposal to build a "major wall" to stop the "flood of immigrants who we don't want or need here"
