Fact Check: TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth Did NOT Die Because She Posted Details About Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Parties -- She Died Of Natural Causes Natural Causes

Was the death of TikTok content creator Kyle Marisa Roth connected to her social media content that "covered Diddy parties in detail"? No, that's not true: The Maryland chief medical examiner told Lead Stories that Roth died of "natural" causes due to heart issues. She died on April 14, 2024, in Maryland. Lead Stories could not find any evidence that Roth's death was the result of or connected to her posts about Sean "Diddy" Combs' parties.

The implied claim appeared in a post on X (archived here) on October 21, 2024. The caption read:

This TikToker covered Diddy parties in detail along with which celebrities attended them, including Jay-Z, Beyoncé & Simon Cowell.

She was found dead at 36.

RIP Kyle Marisa Roth.

The video in the claim has Roth speaking about "Diddy blind items." A blind item is a piece of gossip that has not yet been verified as accurate, usually by an unnamed inside source.

The post implies that Roth's death was somehow connected to her reporting on Combs' parties. The post offers no evidence that Roth's TikToks caused her death or was in any way connected to it.

A search on Google (archived here), led Lead Stories to find Roth's obituary (archived here). It said Roth died April 14, 2024, at age 36.

Lead Stories contacted Maryland's chief medical examiner regarding the cause of death. In an October 22, 2024, email, Special Assistant to the Chief Medical Examiner Stephanie Moore told Lead Stories that Roth died of natural causes:

The manner is Natural and the cause is cardiac arrhythmia due to myocardial fibrosis.

Myocardial fibrosis is the buildup of scar tissue in the heart. Cardiac arrhythmia is an erratic, uneven heartbeat.

We also searched Google News, which has about 4,500 credible news sites, for "Kyle Marisa Roth AND homicide" (archived here). The results yielded dozens of reports of Roth's death. However, no results supported any connection between her death and foul play.

Combs was arrested on September 16, 2024 (archived here), in New York City on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation for purposes of prostitution. He pleaded not guilty.
