Did celebrity TV chef Guy Fieri publicly ban "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg in January 2024 from visiting any of his restaurants? No, that's not true: A self-described satirical website, which specializes in what it calls "the freshest fake news," first published this claim. Goldberg has denied on air that she ever was kicked out of Fieri's restaurants.
The claim reappeared in a post (archived here) on X, formerly known as Twitter, on January 2, 2024. It said:
🚨Guy Fieri takes a bold step, telling Whoopi Goldberg 'You're not welcome here' and escorting her out of his restaurant🚨
This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

However, the story was not an authentic news report grounded in facts.
On January 4, 2024, Goldberg refuted (archived here) the claim in her own words on air:
I've never been kicked out of Guy Fieri's restaurant.
The claim originated from an article (archived here) published on July 17, 2023 (archived here), on a website called SpaceXmania. As of this writing, the piece was marked as "satire" -- unlike many social media posts that shared it in the first three months of 2024:

The website's About section (archived here) reads:

A Google News search (archived here) did not produce any credible reports corroborating the purported feud, but it shows many other fact checks addressing variations of the claim.
